The management is a damn joke. I turned in my 30 days notice of intent to move out and the apartment manager said everything was fine. Of the six phone calls I made to confirm the move out date someone picked up once. She assured me that everything was fine. A month later I received my deposit (minus the cleaning fee) and saw that I was charged a few more days of rent. This asinine unprofessional group of incompetents stamped my 30-day notice on a later date because the manager was out showing apartments AND FORGOT TO STAMP THE LETTER AS HAVING COME IN ON THE 1ST. I called the general manager, Shawn White, and he said that the girl I spoke with denied ever talking to me. And then he proceeded to talk down to me as if I were lying. This experience, this management and Mr. White make me sick to my stomach.

Other things to consider--parking is horrible. You're not assigned a spot. The traffic noise is daunting. The "emergency line" doesn't work (didn't in the past--was just an answering machine). They NEVER return your phone calls unless you're a prospective tenant. Most importantly, it's just not safe here as there's no security what so ever. Women!!! There's been a suspectd stalker that lives in the complex--of course, they don't tell you this.

I hadn't made a peep while living at Pacific Gardens even though the managment was very flaky about certain issues. But now, this crap happens' This is not a light matter so I had to share my experience. I'm sure there are tenants who had a tolerable experience at Pacific Gardens but the problem is that you can't rely on this managment, and they will take advantage of you. This company is simply, dishonorable.

If you're considering living here you need to ask yourself--do you really want to live somewhere where you have to worry about the safety of your body and your wallet' I mean, how desperate and cheap are these people' This was their mistake--yes, I'm talking about you Mr. Shawn White. This place and these people are not to be trusted. Save your peace of mind and don't live here.
