Padre Gardens Apartments

Tread Lightly... Check other Avenues before saying okay. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/20/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   This complex is a double edged sword one... I moved here under the impression that these were nice sized (which they are) low cost apartments which may have a few bumps and bruises, but still a good deal. I had a an acquaintence who used to rent here also. I actually reviewed this rating site before deciding to come and look at the apartments. Again the physical location of the apartment is great, I still didn't and have yet to see any bugs as claimed... Yes, we know the parking lot is jacked up to the heavens, but overall was still a decent spot for the price. I've had to regulate on my neighbors once or twice about the noise level, but I hope they have moved by now (or they have) because I don't hear them often, or at all at times. However comma I am assuming because they are trying to keep it up to the times there are many times where water is being shut off for HOURS AND HOURS at a time...electricity is to be shut off tomorrow and the day after for up to 6.5 hours at a time each (Thank goodness I haven't done any major grocery shopping) point is, maybe I moved in at a bad time, maybe this apartment complex always has too much going on. There was a point where parking was pretty hectic, but it has slowed down, and it could be due to military occupants and other folks moving away. Anyhow, if you're just looking for something temporary, niced sized for a year or 2 this may be the place, but I'd definitely look into other places before choosing this one. Perfect for college students I'd say, but nowhere to want a famly to be for years on end. I'd be pissed if I had to stay here for another year.
