I have just moved out from Padre Gardens, as I moved out of the state, otherwise I would not mind staying here for another year. The property is OK for the price. Never had problems with the parking, noise or commuting, the place is nestled between two highways. The new staff is making visible progress, the lawns are regularly cut and two pools cleaned. The buildings are older, with occasional water shut-offs, but not that often anymore. Great place for college students, therefore, as I noticed, the population is mainly students and military personnel. On a scale 1-10, I rate it 7.

"nestled"? The place is infested with rats and cockroaches. I don't know what state you moved to, but this place should have been condemned in the mid 80's

I have never seen a rat in the building and as long as you keep your apartment clean, roaches shouldn't be a problem.
