THE BAD:
Padre Gardens is like a fake watch. It looks great at first but once you look more in detail you notice it is a piece of crap! The parking is ridiculous!!! Try and find a spot at night when you come home. When there is an event at quallcomm stadium you feel like your in prison cause you can't leave the area at all! It's great living next to the highway but all the smut from it makes it really hard to breath! I have had cockroaches also. The walls are about as thin as plywood too, you can hear tenents tv's as you walk down the hallway, crazy! There is a gym but half of the stuff doesn't work. The pool is never cleaned and is filled with the highway smut.
When you visit padre gardens the management seem real nice but trust me they are not. They are very rude, especialy the Manager! Don't move here please, keep looking there are better apts to live at! I am moving out of here this month and I'm very excitied.

THE GOOD:
The size of the apt is nice and so is the layout. a/c and heat work great. Maitnance is nice and do a good job. Security is always on patrol at night! Most of all the price. i pay 1100 a month for a one bedroom. If you are thinking about moving here don't please. Yes, there are nice things about this place, but the are greatly overshadowed by all the flaws. I cant wait to get out of this dump!!!!

Had me until whoever it was started selling another complex, then the author started to sound like a troll. If the author mention more than one, or why they included it in their review I think I could overlook their indiscretion.

The fact that the location is right next to the staduium is your first clue to parking being tight and let me tell you this little area is very tight for parking, cmon It's Mission Valley. The Stadium games are not so bad any way, it happens 8 times a year... I live at a neighboring complex and it's what ever you make it to be. Cheap rent is great and if you keep your apartment clean I bet you won't get roaches. I have lived there in the past and never had problems we had to move to a 2 bedroom due to an addition to our family, and we got a deal we couldn't refuse. You have the wrong Idea about that place, if you want more expensive go pay more but you get what you pay for buddy. and for the price that place is very nice. Good bye Troll guy!

More management trying to downplay the major problems. If the stadium traffic is such a non-issue, why did the reviewer both to mention it. I can guarantee there are roaches and rats. When they are in the hallway, it's not a matter of one individual's poor housekeeping. It's called being a SLUMLORD!
