It is amazing to read what people will whine about. I was shaking my head after reading the last two complaints.

Just for the record, there is no "security" gate in this complex. There is a gate, but it is not for "security". (There is an open walkway leading into the complex right next to the gate, along with parking spaces). The gate was not meant to serve as "security". The security of this complex is in its location. It is off the beaten path and in a beautiful area. Although the gate hasn't been broken in weeks, it was broken for about 3 days some time ago, but has been working fine ever since.

I don't know about mudslide problems. I guess I just had enough sense not to park my other car next to a dirt hill during a rain storm.

Sometimes using common sense helps solve problems.

I guess the person who wrote the reivew also didn't know that maintance issues are not handled by the front office. There is a seperate phone number to call just for maintance issues. If they are calling the front office for maintance issues, that is their problem right there.

Overall, I have to agree with the majority of reviews. This is a really nice apartment with great amenities. I love the island in the kitchen, it allows for so much more space!

As with most things in life, you get out of it exactly what you put in. If you want to blame management because you park under a dirt hill in a rainstorm or because you don't know how to call a maintance phone number or you obsess over a gate that is working fine, you are going to be miserable wherever you move.

For the record. I do not work for BRE, I am not friends with any of the staff or have any interest in the propery other than the fact that I live here and wish that people were more honest with themselves and others when writing reviews.
