Honest Review

So I am going to try and give this place an honest review. I first moved to PCC in 2002 sharing a three bedroom with a few other guys. The management was completely friendly and even grandfathered us in at a very reasonable rental late. I moved out and got my own place.

Then due to some circumstances I ended up again back in the housing market. Based off my experience PCC was the first place I stopped. For the first year things were nice but all of a sudden things got annoying very fast.

It started with our fire alarms going off every time we cooked. There would be no smoke, but for some reason the alarms just went off.

Next they started closing the gym regularly. The equipment was the same equipment that I had used in 2002 and it looked worn. Additionally they stopped putting towels and water cups. Now this may seem like trivial things but remember i am paying about 2k for luxury living. To me luxury means well maintained equipment, and water.

On top of this they kept raising rents every chance they got. Unlike the previous staff their was no grandfathering of rates. I was hit with a nice 15 - 20% rate increase every year.

To top it all off the comment the guy made about the dogs is 100% correct. My neighbor had 3 huge dogs, everyone in the complex did. To me that is fine because i love dogs, however there was dog crap everywhere. The owners simply did not clean up the dog crap. It was everywhere on the side walks in the landscaping etc.

Not only did management not bother to clean it up, they didn't even put out a note about it no matter how much we complained. It almost like they stopped caring. The landscaping also went to hell. Bushes need to be trimmed their and what was once nicely mulched and maintained flower beds was now just mud and dirt. The sidewalks were always covered with leaves... Like i said its like they didn't care.

So had you met me in 2002 I would have given this place a glowing recommendation. However now I wouldn't go near it with a 10 foot pole.

Its a shame really. The area is beautiful, you are surrounded by hills and a horse farm, and the apartments have a nice layout.

Until management changes I would stay way. I don't have any horror stories to tell about fights or being mistreated.

The place simply went to crap both literally and figuratively
