bre@carmel creek was possibly the worst i've ever rented. maintenance staff was decent but they get lots of practice. the bugs always find a way in, the cabinets were yellow from a previous smoking renter, the ductwork for heating/ac was not kept clean so everytime you ran the system a black soot would settle in the apt. on everything. had cheap wood floors in units but if you've got a pet living above you, you'll hear it everytime it runs in the apt. you pay for everything it seems like, way overpriced. garbage bins are always overflowing. office staff is always changing and the newbies are poorly trained, nobody strays from company rules you never read when signing up. even though deposit is low, i assure you, you won't get much of it back. i would encourage renters to never rent a unit from bre company. it will be too much of a headache for you.
