Well I tell you what, Portofino has 4 sales and 2 managers that are in sync together on how to screw you and your hard earned money. Here's what I mean. Hey leave your garage open and it's a $25 dollar fine, park without your tags for outside parking $ 145 for residence and $200 for non-residents to get your car towed by Western Towing. The love of money. The assigned parking has not yet come about. Hmmm lets see it is March 07th 2005. The walk way to Costco shopping center has not been done yet. They said it will be done by November 2004 to December 2004. So far 3 months behind and it looks like another 6 to 9 months to go. The -------- that work in the construction side of things start at a very convienent time of 6:50am. They whistle and yell not to mention their loud machinery and when they put into reverse that back up sensor kicks in and you could here it 2 blocks away. Onto other things you should know about. The management lies and tells their leasing agents to lie as well. That pisses me off. The pool is cold people, we pay $1900 a month and the pool is cold. We don't live in El Cajon or Chula Vista...all of us here live on Friars road where even the gas is over priced by 30 cents (unless you go to Costco across the street). The rent is so outragous that the only reason why we took it was because they gave us the first month and a half for free. If they lowered my rent to $1400 I still would move. Do you really want to pay $1900 or more to live in a place that rips off it's own tenants. I have never have my car towed but alot of people sure have. That must suck. I saw a new BMW 745li just get towed last night because they forgot to display there parking permit on their car. Can you say Western Towing works on commission'!! Anyway, if you move in here after reading this you have got problems. I do not know of cops coming in here at accept 1 time in 6 months but then again I am gone all the time. I think the people that are here now will move as soon as there renewel comes up. Good luck to all of us who got screwed I guess none of us saw it coming.
