Don't be fooled, the new management is NO more helpful than the last. They do smile more, but are all talk and no action. The parking is HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I can't even begin to explain how bad the parking situation is, and believe me it has got even worse w/ this new management. The new security that the new management hired has been horrible too. They are never doing anything productive. They are rude to residents and do not seem to help anyone with anything. Its supposedly a "gated" community, but you can clearly see if you ever go by that the gates are always open. Its a JoKe!!! Its almost as big of a joke as their little walking path. The path is supposed to connect to across Friars Road thru a tunnel they built and locked up and never opened up. The trail is a short,pointless thing and if you do walk on it at night the sprinklers are sure to get you soaking wet. Did I mention parking at Portofino is a nightmare' Cuz it is!

To whom it may concern,

As the Community Director at Portofino, I would like to set some time and meet with you regarding your concerns. There have been many changes that have occured since H.G. Fenton has taken over management of Portofino and I can assure you that many of the items you are referring to have been addressed and taken care of. Also, we have been notifying all residents of the changes that have taken place such as numerous recently added "guest" parking spaces, grace period of payment of rent effective in May,etc... via letters posted to everyone's front door. A lot of the concerns you are referring to have been addressed and updated through the letters you received on your door. Once again, I would be more than happy to meet with you personally and go over those updates, which I am sure will help you see those positive changes! It is very nice the management feels they are "addressing" the issues, however, this could not be farther from the truth. When repairs are requested, the management staff responds with a smile and tells us something will be done in the next two days and we are still waiting months later for the action to be taken.
