I wish I had checked on reviews such as these BEFORE I signed on the dotted line. Don't expect management to do ANYTHING for you except make excuses or give you double talk. If someone parks in your space for a stadium event [which occur often] they will NOT do anything about it--you are stuck having to park on the street, or in your garage, which is too small to park in. Makes you feel like they don't give a damn about you... .... ....hummmmmm....When move-out time comes, they will try to stick you for new carpeting just because they can [and they CAN]. I am now a permanent enemy of Portofino and Fenton properties and will fastidiously avoid any contact with them in the future, and advise others to do the same.

When I moved out in 2006, they tried to make me pay for new carpeting as well. Now 2 1/2 years later, I still refuse to pay the 1800 they are asking for the carpets. Their collection department keeps making rude phone calls to my house threating a lawsuit! And when we checked out and had the walk through with the manager, they said everything looked fine! I'll never rent there ever again.
