THEY WILL FIGHT WITH YOU. LAUNDRY IS A DISASTER, PEOPLE WILL THROW AWAY YOUR STUFF. I AM SO GLAD WE ARE NO MORE THERE...

It sounds like you had a rough experience here at Prado. I do not understand how people could throw away your laundry with you still in the laundry room watching your clothes. That must be a very difficult thing to pull with you in the same room as them. As far as the security issues, I must admit that Mission Valley in general is a very hot spot for car theft and car prowling. Make sure to not leave any Ipods, laptops, money, cd's, dvd's or other easily resellable items open to view to possible thieves. I recommend investing in a pager car alarm and a car cover, while staying anywhere in San Diego without a garage.
