Promenade Rio Vista

Absolutely Horrible! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/4/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   Keep as far away from there as possible. How bad is the Promenade' Where to begin. First off the noise and population. Mostly unruly college kids. They completely disobey the simplest rules of the complex. They sit in the courtyards till 4 in the morning and are loud as can be. The noise echos up the courtyard to every room. The soundproofing between apartments is next to none. The "patrol" doesn't do a damn thing about it. One night I had to walk next door to ask a nieghbor to turn the music down, only to find out that it wasn't very loud to begin with. That's just how thin the walls are. The younger population also invite several friends over to destroy the pool and spa area. No alcohol is allowed at the pool. Several kids at one point actually hid a 6 pack of beer and a bottle of Jack in the spa when the patrol came by to toss some of them out. Secondly the distruction of the complex. There are occupants that think it's entertaining to put their shoe prints on the interior of the elevator doors and also think it's simpler to ruin the front security door so that riff raff can wonder in at random. Several decorative shelves on the exterior of window ledges have fallen, some several floors down. Very dangerous. I was required to remove all articles out of my storage area(which was completely full) so that contractors could come in and repair massive cracks in pillars on the deck and install vents in the storage area. I had to live with all my storage stuff in my living room for an entire week. Total inconvience. I need not get too far into the towing company who towed my truck one time even with the pass in the window. When I got my truck everything had been gone through, all change gone and the pass still sitting in the window. The complex did nothing to correct it. Totally crappy place... I can't believe they are actually going to try and sell them now. haha. Keep as far away as possible.
