Long review, but a must read if you are thinking of moving here...We live in Bldg 4 and the noise is unbearable and never stops! I can hear every footstep from the people upstairs, they are constantly vacuuming, and their child is constantly either screaming or crying. Our bedroom shares the wall with our neighbor's living room and we hear his TV as if it was in our bedroom. As if this wasn't bad enough, the noise outside is even worse! There are always car alarms going off and idiots playing loud music in their cars all hours of the night. The absolute worst has to be the drunken fools that love to hang out and "talk" after the bars close. This occurs 7 nights a week and continues through 3AM or later. We have complained to security several times to which they reply "We are employed to watch the cars not to handle noise complaints." Security told us to call the office. I called and spoke with a person who said a Manager would call me shortly. I never received a return call, and left several messages that were also never returned. I went to Resident Services to complain about the noise and was told to call security which is where I started in the first place. I haven t had a good night sleep in almost a year. We should have known there were going to be problems because on the day we moved in both toilets were used and un-flushed. We are paying a fee equal to 1 months rent because we are breaking our lease to get out of this place. A small price to pay for our sanity and happiness.

I agree building four is bad. We personally live within building one (and face the inside so no car alarms just the sound of the water fountain) and have LOVED it here for the past 5 years. We seem to have more older adults in our building so not too many parties and when they do happen, security is responsive for us. In the end, we have lived at two others communities in Mission Valley which was by far worse. If you can move apts I would see if anything is available in our building where you would face the courtyard and be on the top floor. It is quite lovely, beautiful, and very peaceful.
