I have lived here for almost three years. The resident services staff and maintenance have been truly excellent. During Christmas week, when I was entertaining a house guest, I had a najor plumbing problem. Within an hour of my call to maintenance, the workers arrived and fixed everything beautifully. Not only that, they returned twice to make sure the problem was solved. Their efficient and timely help is certainly consistent with my experience here at the Promenade.

The staff sure knows how to post these phony revews that paint a great picture of an awful facility! I've also been here over three years and have waited days for maintenance with the response: "well they're really busy right now and they'll get to you when they can." Most times I fix it myself.

I think deaffromnoise might be too deaf to hear what people say over the phone too. I called to have my door fixed as well as some other items and they were all one wtihin 24 hours. Sure fixing somethings ourselves might be faster but we pay the extra to have someone else do it for us. Not everyone is as brilliant as you are deaffromnoise, but at least we can hear. I think you were just to unlucky and are a nasty person. You should work on that for the New Year and maybe find a new place to live. If you don't like it, why have you been there for this long. Most people know if they like/dislike a place within the 1st 6 months to a year.

Poor deaffromnoise, who is suffering from a classic case of transfer of blame: "Nobody loves me, everybody hates me, I think I'll go eat worms." Here are some suggetions: 1.Move. 2. See a good therapist. 3. See a movie.

Deaffromnoise exemplifies a long-standing cannard: Nasty is as Nasty does.

Well I did move and we did have a flood from the apt above. I called while toilet water dripped in my kitchen. Called maybe 25 times no call back no response. This flood was so bad it dripped all the way to the garage. Well, they finally called 2 hours later told me they would be there in 45 minutes the guy on called lived in south bay. By this time it was so bad we had to move to another apt (whole different story they charged us more to move) They came by put up fans and left never to come back I had to call the company to come get the fans. The kicker here management or maintenance never came by to check or fix any of the flood problems. And the point why don??????t you move we did but sometimes it??????s not easy to just pick up and go. And I??????m so glad that the people who love this place stay online all day to answer these postings. You guys in management rock for posting so well, I wish I got paid to post..
