At first when I moved in this place was awesome and so quiet, the staff was great about fixing problems that i had within the first month of moving here. Than about 3 months later this place became a party place so many freaking parties at night that I could not sleep, after x amount of complainants and calling the cops a few time I gave up and went back to working graveyards just so I could come home and get some actual sleep with out all the noise. On top of that I have a dryer for over 7 months that has not been fixed in over 4 attempts, a leak below the sink caused by the garbage disposal that's been fixed twice "laugh out loud"and still the water spewing out after i run the garbage disposal. Parking well you only get two stickers if you loose one or sell a car like I did you than need to repurchase the maybe dollar sticker of value for 100 dollars or you can get a temp pass renewed every week. Its a joke of a place and well over priced from being "luxury".

Jus5t remember "looks can be deceiving"

That's all you have to complain about? Consider yourself lucky if that's it. Those of us who have lived here longer could write a book about the problems here. And the recent action of renting to every person alive who has a dog makes it now like living in a kennel. Dogs screeching and barking all night. Dogs in buildings where they aren't supposed to be allowed. Dog urine in the elevators (in non-dog buildings), dog feces everywhere. A pile sat in front of my door for almost two weeks until it was finally cleaned up. And my building is a "non-dog" one. And to top it off, the building hosts a lawn party on the promenade and tells you to bring your dog! Dogs are supposed to be off limits on the lawns but they throw this party. Lots of kids live here. Do their parents want them playing in the grass now and rolling around in the dog urine and feces residue? Or how about the work out group on Saturday mornings? Do they now enjoy doing push-ups and other excercises on the lawns with all the dog urine and dog feces residue. To say this place has gone to the dogs, is about as accuarate a use of that statement ever!

Isn't it amazing how never-ending noise is the first complaint in almost every evaluation of this glorified dump? And I'm not talking about the guy above me (I think the Coaster rumbles through his place), but the constant slamming of stairway doors, people walking through the halls and so on. This is easily the noisiest place I've every lived in --- and that includes several complexes around SDSU. Then there's trash --- litter everywhere, daily refuse dumped on the trash room floor... you get the point. This dank and dreary place feels like an army barracks or an SDSU dorm. Luxury? Please... For what you pay for rent here (maybe less), you can get a quite nice place Hillcrest, Bankers Hill or Mission Hills. At least you feel like you're in a real neighborhood with some semblance of personality. This place is awful; luckily I'm out of here any day now...

I am relocating to the San Diego area from Chicago. We have been looking for apartments under or just around the 2000 mark. It has been very hard finding a place when the complexes can't describe their attendants due to housing laws. We don't want to live in a college town. Does anyone know of or have any suggestions. Thanks a bunch. schoo10
