Very friendly and accommodating staff butIts a hint and half when you move in and there is a fork lying in the bushes just outside the entryway. That could explain the infestation of roaches on our move in day. The fumigator is there one day of the week, and since we had to have the place sprayed twice, our problem took 3 weeks to take care of! Pure move in HELL.

The apartments are right alongside Poway Road. Nothing but semi-trucks and rap music noise 24/7! You could hear/see every truck that would pass by, sometimes making the poorly insulated windows rattle. It gets better. After midnight or so, with the streets mostly empty, you could then concentrate on the internal noise. Some weird humming sound came from within the building every night. My best description is a loud air conditioner or power generator. Good luck getting some sleep.

Lived right next to a dumpster, so you could hear the noise, especially when the trucks would rumble in and set off all the car alarms. Speaking of cars, my car was vandalized (some punk ass thought it was cute to take my BMW insignia). There is plenty of parking though, probably due to the high vacancy. Very bad location- no businesses/food nearby.

Ive lived in place with bathrooms bigger than the kitchen I had to cook in. It was so small, I had to share space with the roaches. The laundry machines were outside on the porch. Nothing like bringing in your clean clothes from the dirty outside. Had a nice shower though

With unemployment at a 12 year high, the economy still in despair, as well as being at war- what does management do' They raised our rent within the 9 months we were there! It didnt surprise me that this place would nickel and dime me for all I had. Example: they will bill you for waste/water/trash. Didnt even get my deposit back.

I would not recommend this to my worst enemy, except for the employees and corporate owners of Equity Apartments so they can get in touch with reality.
