I lived at River Run from August 2003 - August 2005. I had minimal problems when I lived here - had no hot water one morning when they forgot to turn it back on after working on it the day before, also had a pipe break in the wall in our first floor apt. that required a jackhammer to get to (in our hallway) all was fixed in a timely manner. I liked the central location. My apartment was unusually hot so we ran the A/C all the time and the SDG&E was like $170/month for a 2bd/2ba in the summer months - but I know that not all the apartments are like that. Great amenities - nice work out room, pool and spa were always clean when I was there. Absolutely loved the cabinet space in the kitchen. The apartment was very quiet - we had a dual master and could never hear neighbors or each other. Maintenance was done very fast. One time we even accidentally got a spoon jammed in the garbage disposal and it had to be replaced - they did not charge us anything for it. This is an awesome place to live if you have a dog. There are tons of dog owners and most of them are responsible and pick up after there pet (not all of them). There are a lot of doggie waste stations so you know that your $15/month is really going to use. Nice storage area on the balcony - nice grounds, sometimes there were loud parties - but I guess that's to be expected in a complex filled with college kids. To be honest the reason I moved had nothing to do with the actual apartment or management - it was the majority of tenants there. I seriously got sick of coming home at midnight on a Friday to find someone parked in my space. It's Mission Valley so parking sucks - I get it, but when I have a reserved space, it's not there for someone else to park in for 20 min while they pick up their friend, or someone to park in because they're too lazy to walk 5 feet to get their mail. (My spot was right by the mailboxes). One person had their alarm clock programmed to go off at 4:30 in the morning and blasting at the loudest volume possible no doubt, but they were never home. I loved being woken up every Saturday and Sunday at 4:30am to the never ending sound of the annoying alarm clock. If you can handle rude inconsiderate people living around you then you'll have absolutely no complaints! It was a nice place to start when I moved to San Diego - but definitely not my ideal crowd to be around. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd
