I have never in my life lived in such a terriable place!!! I moved to Riverfront in Aug. 2005, and since then my car has been broken into 3 times, my roomates has been broken into 4 times. Now this his ridiculous considering that all 7 times we were parked in the underground gated parking garage with suposed 24 hour security ( that we pay extra for). And it's not only our cars, on my way to work or running errands in the morning I've seen 3 other cars that had been broken into (the shattered glass gave it away!), and the guy who parks next to me has has had things stolen from him too!!! And the staff does nothing, I never have gotten compensation or even sympathy. I do not feel safe here what so ever. The maintance staff is also very rude and the the office staff is completely unprofesional! I wish I had never moved here! Dont make my same mistake!!!!

I agree with you 100% about the staff, management. I wish I had read more about these blogs so that I would have stayed away from here. But instead, I'm stuck in this year long lease and regret every day of living here. Some of our neighbors vehicles are parked over there lines which causes our neighbors to park on our line and doesn't give us much room to get out of our vehicles without banging up there doors...but the worse problem around here is that management seems to turn there heads any time there is a problem or situation...I do not wish any type of hardship for others thinking that they will be living in paradise when it turns out to be living hell. The security guards usually hide in there vehicles or turn there backs when they walk by...Fire trucks are here constantly during the evenings...This place sucks! Let's not mention the woman that was killed by her son over a year ago...management said that the unit would be used as a model....never was, in fact someone is living in it as we speak...I knnow it was a bottom floor apartment on the SW side of the complex!!! I hope nobody has night mares in there!

Wow. You obviously aren't from around here. Cars are broken into everywhere all over the county. Maybe if people wouldn't leave items in their car that are enticing to theives .....what a concept!!!Also, someonethat gets broken into that many times ...is it possible that you have made some enemies along the way. If you don't like living here....please do the rest of us a favor and move, stop whining and handle your own business. I have had to bring a few issues up to the management and they are always nice about things. What exactly do you expect them to do? Get you stolen stuff???? The police can't even do that. Why not write a letter to the SD Police Dept.
