It has been many years since I lived at Royal Apartments on Guy Street. The first time I stayed there (1967) it was a pretty nice Alcove apartment for $99 a month, with no lease. When I moved back there again the second time (1969) it was still well maintained, however one of the 2 swimming pools had been filled in. If I recall, the studio was $10 cheaper than the Alcove, at $89 a month, still with no lease. Neighborhood was nice, furnishings too. I imagine prices have gone up.
