terrible sound insulation, and ugly as sin!

Whoever decided that these units should not be fully carpeted was in error. i have never heard so much noise from an upstairs neighbor before; it is as if someone else is living in your unit with you. In addition, every hallway looks the same, and the utilitarian design of this place is most unfortunate.

All of that aside, I agree with the previous review of this building; the partying here is pretty ridiculous, and difficult for the security (who i've always found to be pretty helpful, actually) to keep tabs on- there are 500 units in this building!
The laundry rooms are constantly having their machines break down, and there is always some sort of maintenance noise going on, regarding "improvements" (trees being cut down, etc.). Also, we are not allowed to keep our bicycles on the balcony, which is ridiculous. Bicycles are not junk! And the previous reviewer mentioned towels; amen. There is little to no air circulation in the units, due to all windows being on one side only- hanging your towels up to dry inside is an exercise in futility, but you absolutely cannot dry them on your balcony, heaven forbid.
Do not get a unit facing the courtyards if you value your quiet and or/privacy. Many people cannot be bothered to follow any of the posted rules, and will often drink and smoke and yell into the night while they are enjoying the facilities, including the barbecues.
Basically, there are a lot of noise issues with this complex, from other residents and from the adjoining alleyway/streets (alcohol-fueled, but that is PB in a nutshell). I have also had quite a few things mailed to me which somehow never made it into my mailbox (this has happened to many other people here).
All in all, not a very great place to live.
