This place sucks.
I've had stuff stolen off my patio, packages left at my door, and stuff off my car.
Like everyone else says, parking is horrible if you live in a two bedroom.
Whoever through tandem parking was a good idea should be shot.
We're on the bottom floor and our apartment gets zero direct sunlight so unless you like it dark, get one on the third floor.
The walls and ceilings are also very thin.
I've lived in lots of apartments so I know that there's always going to be some noise but it's really bad here.
The people above us are on an opposite time schedule so they're up all hours of the night and we hear them walking around, playing video games, and laughing most nights.
The appliances are all new though and maintainance is great about fixing problems quickly so there is something good about this place.
The staff is very friendly and I don't have a bad thing to say about them.

I never informed the office because I don't think my neighbors are being louder then we are. They shouldn't have to walk on their tippy-toes or listen to the TV at whisper level or not enjoy an occasional laugh just because I can hear them. How about the family next to us with the baby that we can hear crying most nights? Is the office going to make them give the baby up for addoption or build a soundproof room if we complain? What I'm tyring to say is that even if your neighbors aren't loud, you're still going to hear them. I also realize that the appartment isn't responsible for my stuff being stolen and there is nothing they can do about it. I said it so that people looking at the property will know what kind of neighbors they have, the kind that steal stuff. I realize that you shouldn't leave valuable things on the patio. My bike was usually locked up but it was only unlocked for 3 days before someone stole it. |

Well you seem very rational and your thoughts are insightful for a prospective resident. The truth is one of the disadvantages of apartment living is the fact that you never know who your neighbors are and that can make your views on a property change due to your personal experience. However if your neighbors are up at all hours of the night disturbing you I would report them in order to at least make the situation a little better for yourself. With that being said I think you have some valid concerns but take my word for it some of the other properties in this area are HORRIBLE! I've worked at a few that had constant car break-ins/thefts, residents getting constantly towed for various reasons even when they had parking permits, exercise equipment and gates always broken, filthy pools, and unbearble noise, terrible maintenance, bad pipes, etc... All in all Trieste is a decent place to live. |
