You can find better From: taylorrae05 Date posted: 10/13/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   Our apartment has flooded (from the garbage disposal) three times in less than a year. Nothing has been done to solve the problem and we're left with moldy cabinets and fans in our living room for days. The building is so poorly structured that when the people above us so much as walk quickly, it sounds like a parade of elephants. The noise from above has woken us up from a deep sleep on more than one occasion. Many apartments are very dark! Make sure you view the actual apartment you're moving in to and not just a "model." However, the worst problem I faced was rusty liquid dripping on to my car fron the pipes above my parking spot, leaving permanent stains. The problem wasn't adequately addressed until I threatened legal action.
