I've been here for about a year and the place is alright. However, sunlight doesn't come in too often and the apartment is often dark. The only place with sunlight is probably the top floor. The rooms are really oddly shaped and "wastes" space when placing furniture in. I'd say my room is somewhat triangular which makes it a pain to share the room. The bathrooms are decent and have nice showerheads. The kitchen has generally new appliances.
Parking is the worst here as the spaces are small and some are in tandem. Nevertheless, they are mostly covered parking.
Maintenance is always quick with work orders and is one of the highlights of this property.
The staff here consists of what appears to be many temporary employees because I don't often see the same person twice. It's hard to go to someone regularly who knows your situation. When asking for office work, you often have to go to them repeatedly to "remind" them (except for maintenance). When I first applied to live here, they misplaced my files twice so it was difficult to get things done in a timely manner. Later on, I called to ask about security deposits/refund amounts but the staff member refused to give me an general estimate claiming that they are too variable. She might have not known. It could also be that the security deposit refunded does not follow a trend. Maybe charges are made randomly. Another experience was asking for the price to replace a key. I was asked to call again another day rather than the staff member finding out the answer and getting back to me. The landlord should invest in a new management company.
To comment on rent, the rent is generally where it should be although they're raising it once the lease is renewed. Gas is paid for by the landlord for the water heater. Water is flat rate for each person in the apartment. Renter's insurance is required.
