Just browsing the reviews you can obviously see this IS NOT the place to live. But since unfortunately, I did live here. I'll add my 2 cents.
Unless you live on the 3rd floor (top floor and highest priced $$) say GOODBYE to sunlight. Lack of windows make these apartments dark, cold, and gloomy. It could be a beautiful sunny day outside and you wouldn't know it.
The floorplan for these apartments are horrible. Whoever came up with the idea to have 12 different walls in a bedroom is a moron. The layout feels like Pee-Wee's playhouse.
The walls are paper thin. Consider yourself lucky if you don't share a wall with a guy who snores or a ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The "upgraded" units are all cosmetic. Sloppy and poorly remodeled. Instead of replacing the toilet seat, they re-paint the seat and re-install it back on the toilet. NASTY.
Appliances will break on you. We've had most of our appliances replaced at one time or another. (Not repaired because no one there knows how to fix anything). I lost soo much $$$ because I had throw everything away in the fridge cause they had to order a new (BUT USED!) fridge to replace the broken one.
The parking lot was built for bicycles. You have to be a stunt driver to park your car here because the spaces are soo small. Every other car has scratches and dents because people don't have enough room to pull in an out of their parking spots. And management could care less if people park in your space.
If you live on the outer edge of the complex. There will be A LOT of noise from Nobel and La Jolla Village Drive. If you live in the inner part, noise from the pool until 1AM will keep you awake. Management will do NOTHING about it. (I can't remember how many times I would hear people scream out their window, "----------------, I have to go to work tomorrow!!")
I don't know what they were thinking when they repainted the exterior of the complex grey. Looks and feels like PRISON. I don't know how many notes were left on peoples door alerting them of a robbery or break in that just occured.
The manager and management are a useless waste of space. Aside from one or two good people who work there, the rest of the staff come and go like day and night. There must be a new person working there every other month. All are clueless and don't know a thing. Their two responses are, "Let me check on that and get back to you" or "I apologize, there's been a mistake and...."
As far as rent. Ridiculously priced. Management will increase rent as high as legally possible and if you don't renew, they'll re-rent the unit to a new tenant for $300 cheaper a month. ---'!!
There are a lot more nicer, cheaper places with knowledagble staff in this area to choose from and live. Don't make the mistake I did and live at TRIESTE. Now I can see why they would name a complex similar to the word SAD in Spanish.. It's definitely a sad place to live.

Sounds like an employee took offense to the couple of sentences I wrote about the staff but completely ignoring my entire review about the apartment/complex. Read other peoples comments (which I'm sure you have) and tell me I'm in the minority. So instead of getting all defensive, why don't you get back to work. EDIT: LOOKS LIKE THE EMPLOYEE DELETED THEIR COMMENT. SMART THINKING.
