Shame on the Managment! Truly very POOR UNPROFESSTIONAL Management,You pay high rent and if your bedroom window's blind is broken, the manager says cover your window by a sheet!!!! and many many more PROBLEMS...No peace!! & unfunded extra c

******Shame on The management! The management is truly AWFUL.
***I have rented apt for over 10 years; I have never experienced dealing with such a shameless unprofessional management. I had to keep renewing my lease because I was sick and could not move. Dealing with the management and the problems she had caused me, it made me more sick. If there is a problem, It is impossible to talk to her. She made my staying at Valentia a true "HELL" caused me so much stress and pain.
****I have always paid my rent on time. Valentia is over price and it seems a high end apt on surface, so you expect a fair service---
***** I was living by myself and was not in good health condition and could not move. At the time of renew the lease, each time they increase the lease by 7 percent. After staying there over 2 and half years paying 1480.00 for one bedroom, my bedroom window blinder broke, and falled down.I called to the office and asked them to fix it.
*********The manager personally called back and asked me to cover the window by a sheet!!!! She added they didn't have blinds for windows in stock!!!I paid $1480.00 rent for one bedroom apt and cover my bedroom window by a sheet!!!!!
And that was nothing, there were so many more problems. You never think you have to deal with such a shameless unprofessional management who lies and threaten the tenant!!!!...
****after staying over 3 years; I decided to stay month to month. I had enough. I was hoping to move out. So She said I had to pay $ 270 extra to saty month to month! and I did.I paid $1750.00 for one bed room. It was about 14 of month, I recieved a call from the leasing office and I said I needed to extend my notice. The Manager called me back on the 19th of the month and threaten me I had to move out on the day of notice otherwise I would face legal consequences!! She said she had rented my apt.

***** I asked her to extent my notice, I was their tenant for over 3 years. she said She wouldn't!!!! I told her my health condition is not good and I would have liked to extended my notice. She said she had rented my apt and she added she talked to their authority I have to move out!!!That was 19th of the month. On 24th of the month I went to the leasing office, the manager was not there, the leasing agent said your apartment is on market for rent and it is not rented yet! My apt was available for rent! Under so much pressure I was looking for an apt the week before, I was not able to drive so I asked my friend to help me to find a place to move out since the manager threaten me and said my apt was rented!!!! I found out she didn't rent my apt!!!!!!!!!!---- After being their tenant for over 3 years, paying high rent always on time, and pay what ever they ask for, getting very poor service and support at the end the manager threaten me, lied to me and made me to move out under so much pressure with bad health condition. She caused me extreme stress and pain. I paid high price for one bedroom apt to have peace not to argue over with an unprofessional management,---that was even illegal. She should not be in that position at all. It is a shame. and all the lies---I'm supposed since I was on month to month basis, she wanted to avoid the slow time in winter, she wanted a long term lease.... even though I was paying 270.00 extra per month.
*****The manager lied that she rented my apt and later on I found out she didn't!! ****This is against the law, she does discrimination- she is not capable to run the complex---
**** The worst of all is the stress and pain she has caused me.
****I was an old tenant, They had my business, instead of taking care of their tenant and treat them with respect, the manger made my life hell. when you rent an apt in Renaissance with the high rent you never expect to deal with such an unprofessional ANNOYING MANAGER. that's the difference between Villas of renaissance and Valenta!!!! They never do that!
It is very UNFORTUNATE Valentia is run by such an unprofessional manager that plays with people. *****Besides that the hallways, pool, parking are very dirty all the time. They increase the rent by 7% at the time of renewal. ****and if you decide to stay on monthly basis, they increase the rent by $270.00. ****It is impossible to talk to the manager about any issue--- Don't get fool by the first impression.

I WISH I NEVER MOVED TO VALENTIA AT FIRST PLACE---
****. They know very well what she does it is against the law. And she can not discriminate. She can not threaten the tenant...
It is a shame!
Pls save your money-your health and don't move to Valentia--they need serious changes with management....

Shame on Shea Apartment Communities with hiring such an unprofessional manager! After paying high rent over 3 years, over 60,000, the awful way the manager treat their old tenant with disrespect, threaten, lies, harassing the tenant to make them move out... Instead of taking care of their tenant....
They just know how to charge the high rent, And have a very good first impression
.... Save your health and your money and do not move to Valentia, I do hope this review help others to make the right choice.
