Hype v. the TRUTH From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/6/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   We CAN handle the truth - the problem is the management hypes everything and so we don't KNOW the truth when we sign the lease! People should not have to put up with loud obnoxious neighbors when our rent pays the salaries of the management team that is supposed to "MANAGE" the apartment building -including noisy tenants when they become a problem. Another comment said we should all get used to the fact that we "choose" to live in Mission Valley and so we are destined to over pay and not have parking - and we should get used to it. Ummm last time I checked.. Mission Valley is NOT Beverly Hills. It's just a big suburb with a huge mall and an Ikea - big deal - I just don't get all the comments about how Mission Valley is such a prestigious place to live. Most of the people who choose to live here do so b/c there are lots of apartments so it's easy to find a place. But they are rented based on a bunch of hype - not truth of what it's really like to live in these huge complexes.
