I lived at Village Glen Apts for 1 year. The office Manager is very false and will make you feel so welcome the first time you arrive.Then when you are in ,it is a nightmare There is poor ventilation .The apts are hot , there are 2 men on the Maintenance staff and they complain they are overworked and will admit to you that the office lies. One of the office favourite lies is that the part is on order. You are left waiting thinking that it is true, eventually when the maintenance guys get to you they tell you that there are more move outs than they can handle and that the priority is getting the apts. ready for rental. I read the reviews for this apt and felt compelled to post this as the reviews are honest. What attracts people to the apts. is that the rents are lower than average rents although with the real estate market at it's lowest , you should be able to find better prices elsewhere. My advice to anyone wanting to live here speak to the tenants and take a look around without their guided tour as they never pass you through the dirt. Lots of crickets and rats. And they charge you high prices at the end of your lease . I had to point out when I first moved in how poor the apt was cleaned and on moving was charged an exorbitant price for an apt that was left cleaner than they gave to me.
