08/13/05 by anonymous: Most of these units are not for rent since they are condos. A few are rented out by their owners. One garage parking spot per unit. Manager of the building always looks tired and grumpy. Some of the units are older and outdated. A few of them have been totally re-done and are top-notch.

Very good up keep. Super quiet units. Great views of the city. Can be windy on the decks. Owners pay more

12/20/07 by Chinchizo: What can I say... It's not new but everything works and they have been re-doing most kitchens and bathrooms prior to new tenant move-in. Parking is better than most areas... there is the occasional 5-minute circling but in most cases, street parking is available within a block. Signed up for a garage a year ago... still haven't received one though! ***NOTE*** You are not guaranteed a more

There are rumors that this neighborhood is not a nice place to raise children , but you have to teach children in the home first. Then you can trust on the Lord for protection, strength, and wisdom to make the right choices. more

06/21/14 by dnodno: I have lived in the Alhambra Apartments at 860 Geary Street for almost 3 years and have had a positive experience. Although the building is old, I've had no issues with anything breaking or not working that could not be easily fixed by management, which it was. The only negative experience I had was a small bed bug issue, but it was quickly and professionally resolved and has not recurred. more

07/20/10 by lstoilov@gmail.com: This building is awesome, public transportation to practically everywhere you want to go. Assigned parking plenty of commercial parking for your guests. It has an outdoors heated pool, a jacuzzi, a steam room, and a small gym. I really like the floor plan of the apartments too, the way the rooms are arranged makes very good use of the space. 04/14/07 by exsausd: My wife and I stayed there to escape the heat of the California desert last summer and we are returning this year. Our one large one bedroom apartment was very adequate with a very usable kitchen.

The location of our apartment was great with a view of Grace Cathedral across the street as well as the Fairmont Hotel and a sneak view of the Bay Bridge.

Yes the rent is not cheap, more

06/09/07 by anonymous: Location is great, but the manager is completely rude. After you give notice she'll schedule showings of your apartment and come in with or without your permission, even if you say that it's a bad time. The garage doors are totally broken and always hit cars, but they refuse to fix them. My car was broken into in the locked parking garage, probably because the garage more

04/29/06 by secrethappy@hotmail.com: it's a co-cop so you have to deal with all that associated with it. the building is full of older people so the concierge is extra nice and helpful with parking/bringing in and out packages/calling taxis. lovely views from top floors, and layout is good. more
