New Owners disregard basic rights for tenants From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/26/2006 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2006   Issues: * Constant construction noise (for over a year) Jack hammering, hammering * Main elevator filthy from construction work (for over a year) * Water gets turned off frequently and often without the required notice * 24 Doorman does not accept packages/deliveries * Manager does not accept packages/deliveries * Manager only there occasionally * Fire alarm goes off frequently due to construction work * Manager there to assist the new owners with their construction, not with the tenants' concerns * Elevator not available due to construction use * Theft of packages * Owners proposing to take away public roof top space. * Garbage overflowing frequently in the service elevator. * Tenants' personal items put in the trash by the management. * Who in their right mind chose those colors for the building'
