Beautiful Historic Apartment! - I fell in love with it when I first saw the round room that is in the middle of the place. It is very well laid out with 2 entance/exits to every room except the bathroom. I have never seen any bugs and the the backyard is beautifully maintained by award winning professionals. I hope Idont move for a long time. ...Full review of 747 Geary

I lived here for five years and loved it! - Living in the Cosmopolitan Apartments was perhaps the smartest financial move I've ever made. I moved there in early 1999 and left in late 2004. At the time, my rent was $650. My rent increased just once - to $669. My apartment was bright, cheery and cozy. Although the neighborhood was quite noisy and a bit dirty, I walked everywhere - to shop, work, musuems, etc. I ...Full review of Cosmopolitan

Not horrible so far... - I've lived here for a year now and let me tell you that coming from a bran new place in seattle to an old building in sf is total culture shock. I pay 1050 for a decent sized studio on the 4th floor... but what you pay for is living in the city. I can walk everywhere (shopping downtown, supermarket 2 blocks, laundry across the street etc...). The resident manager is a nice older lady ...Full review of Empire Court Apartments

Great place - I just left this apartment after two years because I was moving cities. It was great. Fantastic management. Nice apartments. Good location. It is a bit pricey, but it is certainly reasonable for the San Fran apartment. Some have said the Franklin side of the building is loud, but I lived on that side and didn't notice there being a lot of noise. I'm not very noise sensitive ...Full review of 1800 Pacific Avenue Apartments

Cutting the crap. - If you're poor and hustling, as I was, this is as good a place as any to live. The front desk staff were alert, and I felt safe as long as I was inside the building. That said, the neighborhood is crummy. If you're a single female, you won't feel or be safe in the Tenderloin. It's not the building, it's the TL: you can't polish a turd. If you're ...Full review of Oasis Apartments

We are returning - My wife and I stayed there to escape the heat of the California desert last summer and we are returning this year. Our one large one bedroom apartment was very adequate with a very usable kitchen.

The location of our apartment was great with a view of Grace Cathedral across the street as well as the Fairmont Hotel and a sneak view of the Bay Bridge.

Yes the rent is not cheap, ...Full review of Nob Hill Place Apartments

Great Place to Live in San Francisco - I have to agree with the other reviews - 1650 is great! I've lived in my apartment for two years now without complaint. Well, they did close the pool for nearly a year to get a fence built around it...but it has finally been re-opened just in time for the summer! Francine, the manager, is friendly and very helpful! Maintenance issues with my apartment have always been taken ...Full review of Sixteen Fifty Octavia Apt

5 Star - The Paramount is the highest quality apartment I've ever lived in. I lived in a Related Building in NY and did not know they had buildings in CA, once I found out this was a one of theirs, I moved in without hesitation. I rarely (if ever) hear any of my neighbors. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance (yes I do call maintenance for minor things, toilets bulbs, ...Full review of Paramount Apartments
