I was at 2000 Broadway for 4 months, the neighborhood is nice, and it's quite, the building is ok, kind of worn out lobby and elevators, with a horrible carpet and the hallways always smell like food... I didn't mind that though, I dsidn't even mind that I was paying more than I should for a studio... what kiled me was when I received much less than half of the $2000 deposit I gave... When the place was inspected before I left the only thing they asked was for the place to be spotless when by the time I left, and so I payed $60 for someone to clean it... I left thinking I would receive evey cent back from the deposit... The suprise cme in the mail.. $300 to paint the already white walls, $130 to clean 2 hours, after i haid paid 60 a day prior.. I mean, 2 hours to clean a 550sq ft studio, that was cleaned a day before!!!'' $200 to shampoo that carpet, $150 to dry clean sofa covera and chair covers that already had stains when I got there!!! plus other charges that I found ridiculous... I'ts a rip off, a scam , I don't know, but one thing i am sure of, and that is renting with any trinity property! No wonder the building always seemed emty...
