Similiar Bad Experience From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/7/2005 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005   Lived at 2000 boardway for 1.5 years - paid over $400 for cleaning fees for a studio apartment, after being told that it would be approx $175 The apartments are VERY poorly insulated - huge drafts from windows and doors (exposed hallways). My previous NYC apt in the dead of winter was much warmer! Laundry was also ridiculously expensive ($2.75 to wash, $2.00 to dry) and clothing never fully dried because the laundry rooms don't have vents Elevators were also always out of order The one good thing is that the ugly concrete building materials do block out noises from neighbors So stay away - plenty of other vacancies in Pac Hts
