Convenience comes at a cost From: natkisson Date posted: 7/16/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   We stayed at 2000 Broadway for 4 months, starting in November 2006 until March 2007. Clean, convenient, and you can rent month to month. The office staff was divided. Some helpful, so I would go to them if I needed help. And those that were not quite as helpful. Laundry is really expensive. $750 a load, and the dryers rarely dried our clothes. My suggestion, drop off at a dry cleaner for wash and fold service and save yourself time and hassle. Great view from the workout room. Our overall experience was good but BE WARNED. If you rent 1219 in the winter, and you use the inefficent and ineffective baseboard heaters upstairs....you will have a REALLY high PG&E bill. Ours was $928, and we were always cold. Feel comfortable renting from this place, just avoid 1219 if you can, and if you can't, DO NOT touch those baseboard heaters.
