This very popular, historic, art deco building dating back to 1906 is a terrific and safe place to call home. I've been a resident over two years and find I have wonderful neighbors,in a safe, well maintained building in possibly the best and most energetic neighborhood in San Francisco with restaurants, nightclubs, retail stores, community fun and Safeway across the street. The owner has owned the building for forty years, and is "hands-on." The manager tells me the owner always says to him, "let me know if the tenants need anything." What more could you ask for' I love this hundred year old building. I have friends on the waiting list always asking me if there's going to be a vacancy. The prices are reasonable too. Some of my neighbors have been here over ten years. No one wants to leave. They expect good references, good credit and proof of good employment. I understand it's first come, first serve but they are careful who they rent to. There may have been some problems in the past but everything is great since I've been here.
