I confronted the building management. It turns out that it was the owner not the management. The landlord was a cheap bastard and wanted to make a quick buck off of a sinking ship only to sell it. In fact the management kept saying that the landlord is a slumlord and did not want to put a dime into anything. Real nice! I lived here for 3 years from 1997 - 2000. I had on of the rooms with the oly window looking out onto the central shaft. This was piled high ith trash. There was a constant problem with mice and roaches and a pest control person came evry month to spray the room.
