Yo!

Worst management in SF

There was a fire in the control room for the elevator and six weeks later they are just patching up the large hole in the roof and the elevator won't work until January 2006 (a full three months after the fire). Several apartments were flooded from the fire and the management still has not repaired the damage to those apartments. Management took 5 months to fix the broken mailbox locks and the broken front door lock. Management (Pablo Tisker, to be specific) rarely returns phone calls and when Pablo does talk to the residents, nothing but lies and insults flow from his mouth. While the individual apartments are nice enough (some have been remodeled with granite and wood floors but others still have old carpet and kitchen appliances), I would not recommend living here. Oh and by the way, parking is extraordinarily difficult on opera/ballet nights which is often!

I am Pablo Tisker from Bernstein Realty, and although the person posting this message has chosen to keep anonymous, I show myself. Let me give you a little background, yes there was a fire which cost the building over $130,000 in repairs, which we started immediately, unfortunatelly the elevator was damaged and a major overhaul was needed, in addition we now had to comply with all new construction codes and fire regulations, three different contractors and 4 city inspectors had to be coordinated to finalize the project, and all this done with minimal disruption to tenants, I invite anyone to visit the building, meet the resident manager and interview any of the tenantsto ask them how we handeled the repairs. It is very sad to see that someone would this blatantly blame me and the management company for something we have never done, like insulting a tenant or lie to one.
I understand that it was a stressful time while trhe repairs were being made, but it does not entitle anyone to damage our reputation for an accident that we could not prevent.
