I came from the Opera Plaza which is a really swanky place (so I know what upscale is) but the Landmark building is not as bad as the previous reviewer made it out to be.
The street is really safe, there are cops that patrol constantly. The building is locked down and seems safe with the security cameras. The building is very convenient to downtown which is SO AWESOME if you love city living. The neighbors are the nicest people I have ever lived with. I mean, on my move-in day people were holding the door, offering help and were generally positive and pleasant. It was leaps and bounds better than the -------s I lived with at the Opera Plaza!
The only downside to living there is that the laundry room isn't open 24 hours a day (only from 8am-7pm) but there are like 20 laundry mats in a 3 block radius and even one with a Mitchells ice cream bar attached! Also, there are no wheel chair ramps up into the building and moving in was a ------and-a-half. But, if I had to do it again I would just hire movers. Less stress and body aches for sure!
