From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/12/2003 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   So I signed a one year lease with one month free prorated over the length of the lease. I went to the office to discuss incentives for signing another year lease before my lease expired. Since they are offering two months free on selected units and other incentives for new-comers, I thought they would want to keep an existing tenant...Boy, was I wrong. They offered me $250 off my second month's rent for signing another year lease. One would think that with all the empty apartments that Fox Plaza has, they would be just as interested in keeping occupied apartments filled. It's interesting that people coming here for the first time deserve a better deal than people who are willing to renew their lease. Perhaps that's why there are so many vacancies. Needless to say, I'm moving to Oakland...
