Mice, deposit trouble From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/30/2001 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2000   I had to set up mice traps in my apartment, but what's interesting is when I told them I saw a white mouse, management had the traps handy. Go figure! When you move out, management is supposed to return your deposit no later than 3 weeks by law, but mine took 6 weeks. I was overseas at the time and had to call several times which cost me a lot. Oh, not to mention they had 2 rents worth of deposit and the manager would not talk to me. I had to call few times just to speak to him, that is when he picked up to answer the damn phone. More' I got more: -Once in a while somebody pisses in the elevator and it would stink for weeks. -A trash chute could possibly not smell worse. Every single time I almost puked. -Sirens and accidents all the time... -If you accidentally touch or scratch your wall inside your apartment, it will make a black mark. So poorly painted! Anyway you got the idea
