Lots of Upset Tenants

Since building just sold, new owners want to raise rents. Word is that lots of current renters are not going to renew leases if rent increases are way out of line with the neighborhood negatives and the building's unsolvable noise and mold problems. (Yes, they make you sign a waiver for MOLD issues - so if you are at all sensitive, do not move here!) We are not renewing - this is by far the noisest apartment we have ever lived in. And there is not much the management can do to decrease the noise from the street and surrounding area. One word of advice to the new management - bring back the Sunday brunch, bring back desk coverage on Sunday, and if you want to keep good and current tenants, lower your rents, or you will have a mass exodus in the coming year, and a building with constant tenant turnover. Management just remember, this is NOT a prime location to live for most people. Don't believe your own PR!!!!
