This place is older but well kept. The cabinets in the kitchen are dated but quaint. The cabinets in the restroom could be updated. There is some noise from 7th street but you are living in a big city and there will be noise. Trash truck is noisy early but otherwise interior noise is a minimum. Very comfortable, great neighborhood and friendly and helpful staff. Not cheap but this is San Francisco, if you have a dog this place takes them. I am happy to be here and not sure what people are complaining about and how they can honestly give the very low ratings. This is obviously subjective and there are not fantastic amenities such as gym and /or club house but it is a comfortable home in a good location. Parking is at a cost underground and secured, the above ground parking is a little cheaper and I have had no problem getting "free" (sf city permit)street parking. not a 5 star joint but certainly a solid 3 .
