Decent place, but a little on the high side price wise

I currently live here, and have been here for about a month. Rent is a little steep for the area.. and parking isn't included, but they do allow pets, and the staff are there to accept packages for you (something that not all apartment buildings have in SF) and are really friendly. It's not quite up to the standards of the other avalon communities that i saw in sf, but the rents aren't nearly as expensive as those places either.
pros:
you won't have to worry about mold
office staff to accept packages for you while you're at work
office staff is friendly
while you have to pay for parking.. not nearly as much as other places (my sister's boyfriends pays 200 a month for tandem parking at his apartment)
close to muni lines
under rent control
on-site laundry
larger than normal apartments
quiet building
free heating (if you get cold... which i don't)
cons:
old appliances/fixtures/..everything
poor air circulation (actually none at all)
dirty carpets
a little expensive for what you actually get
no gym/rec areas/pool.
parking isn't included
during the week, staff isn't around except during normal working hours
laundry breaks down alot..

We lived there as well & there is mold in the walls. No air circulation fog= mold & silverfish as well. The elevator repairmen were always there.
The laundry room is scary & not well maintained.
Rats romp gleefully on the lawn facing the slug garden.
In short.. it's a hot mess!
