Not worth the price From: regJOE Date posted: 6/30/2007 Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2007   Management is friendly but unhelpful often. The staff also seem to turn over often. (Is Avalon Corp. not be good to work for' Probably.) When the dot-com bubble burst the building needed to attract tenants so it went from no pets to pet-friendly. There are too many dogs now in the building and as a result the grounds have a lot of dog ----. The entrance way can sometimes smell of dog urine. Maintenance is an ongoing issue and the elevators get stuck frequently. The laundry room often has broken washers and dryers. There are have been cars broken into here and one stolen from the underground garaage. Security is lax given the cost of the rent. What it has is location, rent control, and views. But then there is that asbestos concern too.....
