The rent is a little pricey for the amenities offered (practically none) However, the maintenance staff is great and usually respond within a day.
The office staff leaves much to be desired, an opinion mutual with the previous reviewer. He/she found one particular to be incompetent but I find them all to be so. A car was mistakenly towed due to double booked parking and they are constantly mixing up apartments from the two buildings in the complex which have similar apartment numbers but different addresses (ie 8Locksley 1A or 6Locksley1A). They also NEVER return calls so don't bother leaving a message.
There have been a few problems with leaks in the garage and utilities construction that have lead to water stoppage. Quite a nuisance but hopefully rectified.
Other than that, the apartment is well-maintained, and clean. The layout is plain but there is plenty of closet space. The location is optimal for those who work at UC MEd. It is close enough to public transportation yet far enough away from the noise.
Overall this is a great apartment if you do not mind paying for it and never have to deal with the office staff.
ps They lose your packages so be sure to have your packages sent to a reliable work address or post office box.
