I lived there for 2 years and was happy until the changed in management in late 2003. The new senior manager acts more like a grumpy old bitty of a principle and treats the tenants like children. She was the cause of my departure and similar sentiments permiated the bldg (as evident my a guy saying, unsolicited I might add, that she was a complete b-).
I understand they may be in more than one case of litigation regarding overcharging for moveout charges.
The neighborhood is meek and although I don't think there is much crime, it's unpleasant with the nearby men's shelter and many homeless that line the streets on the walk to downtown.
The site has lots of good qualities too, parking (although very exp @ $250), the services are nice (hot tub) and maintenance is great (when not ruled/whipped by the head master) and it IS close to the financial dist. Avalon really is superior to other apts other than the current management. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ

Thank god, I heard the truth before committing based on their false marketing. So any recommendations for a decent 1BR luxury apartment in Mi.Bay/SoBe area?
