Avalon Towers

Nice building, proximity to town, pity about the vagrants From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 11/1/2002 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002   I like Avalong Towers, and with recent price reductions I think its good value, but I do have a few gripes: -No "neighborhood" -- its surrounded by parking lots and a post office depot, so dont expect ambiance or a Starbucks (the nearst one closes at 5:30!) -Vagrants hang around the parking lots, and especially around the back (theres a shelter not far away). This makes me feel a little unsafe. On the plus side: -Staff are super-helpful and super-friendly -Easy walking distance to the Financial District -Lots of garage parking -A nice, modern building with no nasty maintenence surprises
