Modern Apartments, Mediocre Management, Theft in Community, Possible Noise, Mediocre Public Transport

From: -Anonymous-
Date posted: 3/26/2003
Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003

Pros:
The apartments are modern.
No studios.
Have dishwasher.
Comfortable apartments though on the smaller side.
Swimming pool.
Close to 280/101
Close to Noe (down a sharp hill)

Cons:
There has been 3 thefts in the community in the last 6 months!!!
The communal hallways have stained carpets and walls.
Garage is extra $70
Managment has an attitude problem.
I haven't heard of anyone's rent being lowered due to market changes.
Repairs are not always high quality.
Neigbhors aren't friendly. It doesn't feel like a community at all.
Some apartments get lots of noise from street and Safeway.
The 52 takes you to Forest Hill or Glen Park BART. But it comes seldom.
Being on top of the hill it's tough to walk back if you take a walk.
There are no quality restaurants around.
