YES (if your apt does not face Gold Mine Street)

I've lived at Village Square Apts (now called Avalon on Diamond) for the past 3 years and have been very happy with the complex's service. For reasons outside management's control, I've decided to move.
My apt is on the second of the three floor complex that faces east - across from Gold Mine Street. This is a low income housing project. The noise is always loud past 10PM: loud rap boom boxes, obnoxious girlfriend-boyfriend fights and engine revving, horn honking dimwits. Its as if these jerks have no regard for other residents in a 2 block radius. Unfortunately the noises carry and reflect off the complex's building.
Recently the noise levels have become unbearable for my tastes. Even closing my windows doesn't block out the constant noise.
If you move in, be sure to avoid the East view apts that are adjacent to Gold Mine unless, of course, you want Snoop Doggy Dog and Jerry Springer in your bedroom.
