Eventually, they changed the name to Avalon at Diamond Heights.
The management does its job well. There is ample street parking and the Safeway parkinglot is across the street, which is very convenient and unusual in the City. You may consider renting a spot in the garage if you have an expensive car; mine was once vadalized on the street. There is some low-income housing nearby, which has some negative impact on the complex, although management does its job keeping the place safe. If you get an apartment on the Diamond Heights Blvd.-side, make sure to sleep with earplugs. You will hear big traffick noise, fire-engines you name it. The backside of the building is nice and quite. The small pool is pretty, the workoutroom is average. The apartments are tiny-little small. The building itself is old but the apartments are well maintained.
In summary, I think Avalon at Diamond Heights is a very good place if you have to rent an apartment in the City. You don't feel being robbed.
