We moved in to our 900 sq ft hovel and the apartment wasn't even ready yet. There were spots everywhere on the carpet even after being cleaned and we couldn't move our boxes and furniture in b/c it was still wet. The floor in the bathroom had broken tiles and get this--it was buckling. The previous owner had a LARGE, HAIRY dog whos remnant were everywhere. The drawers weren't cleaned and there was dog hair still behind the fridge, in the cupboards and ALL OVER the balcony which we had to ask them to clean. Basically, we had a contract to move in and it wasn't ready at all. The staff was completely not helpful and they still haven't fixed the bathroom situation. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen. Oh, there is construction all day long and they only show the apartment when construction has ended. You have 1 parking space you have to pay for, which is fine. But, if you have friends come over, they will have to park miles away. And forget having a gathering during a game because there will be no parking for miles--literally.
The so called manager was indignant to our issues. They don't do their jobs and the only nice people there are the maintenence staff. When my lease is up, I am moving out. Save your money, it's better spent on shoes or origami.

hope you didn't sign a very long lease here......I'm in the same boat with you, maybe we should ask to use the 19th floor to hold an Avalon renters support group! if only they would allow residents to use the 19th floor that is............
